On December 12th,
actress Teri Hatcher came to the Los Angeles Regional Foodbank as part of a national fund raising campaign. Netflix and
America's Second Harvest – The Nation's Food Bank Network, started
an outreach campaign intended to assist families in need this
holiday season and raise awareness of the issue of hunger in
America.
In support of the
effort, Netflix will donate a portion of the proceeds generated by
its holiday gift subscription program to America's Second Harvest. Netflix gift subscriptions can be purchased at
www.netflix.com/gift and
Netflix gift cards can be purchased at select retailers including
Office Depot, Winn-Dixie and Barnes & Noble College Booksellers.
